You will be aware that the Government is asking schools to prepare to open for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. I cannot yet provide you with a start date for these year groups, but it will not be before 8th June. Please make sure you have read my letter to you all as things will be very different when we do open more fully.
We are currently providing your child's Free School Meals on a Monday. If this arrangement changes we will let you know.
Arrangements for Free School Meals does not include Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) where all government funded schools to offer free school meals to pupils in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2. The Council has a Community Response Group looking at access to food for vulnerable people across the whole Borough. A dedicated response for people living in west Cheshire has been launched to support those vulnerable groups at higher risk from serious complications as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and has launched a dedicated helpline to provide advice and support, and where necessary make arrangements for food, medicines and social contact.
