Counting Socks

It's that time of year when I go home on a Friday to count some pairs of socks into a bag for Conway. I like to make sure I have some thick ones and some thin ones and some that I really don't mind going in the water in! Miss Tilsley is disappointed that she is not involved with packing her bag this year, but it was lovely that she took the time to ring the Year 6 children and speak to them each individually. I am sure she will be eagerly awaiting our stories and our photos from our adventurous time away. It is a privilege to be able to spend a week away with your children and I am excited to see how they grow during the week. The growth in independence and the sense of fun that can be had by going away with staff is such a benefit to the children. Our Year 2, 3 and 4 pupils have enjoyed their trips and we look forward to enjoying ours too. Don't forget how very much it means to your child if they receive a letter in the post during breakfast time on the trip... and maybe put in stamp so they can write to you.
